As usual after dinner I bring the children down the big drain for a stroll. This time we stop half-way and went up this long long staircase. When we reached up there we saw another playground. This one although is not so well maintained and well lit but there are 2 swings. Sufficient for the evening's fun. The children took turns to swing in the air. We've also got to know another new Indian friend in the neighbourhood. They are all from India, the grandmother is very friendly and the children like her cause she gives them snack and she's always smiling. Although she speaks a language I don't understand but we are able to communicate through hand gestures. I really felt blessed with the ability to communicate with someone unable to speak or understand each other's language. Kinda of unique! The grandmother says she follows her son to S'pore where he works. She looks after her 2 grandchildren, one's studying in P1 another's in N1. You must meet her, her smile is really contagious.
